Festive Sky

 Thousand
stars appear
from far beyond
bringing us hope
with strength to cope.
Festive
azure sky
God holds for all
where the clouds drift
a blessed gift.

Springing from a rift in the rock

A sapling of a mountain pine!

An eagle perched high

Upon a mountain crag,

Nesting with his eaglets and mate.

Fearless in spirit;

Conscious of their power,

With the wings outstretched

Flying in the breeze

Like a glider,

Looking for prey

To nourish the young.

Soaring Mountain high,

Magnificent,

The spirit of liberty,

The American eagle.

with three brothers and one sister. I lost both my parents before the age of 40. I was a world war two survivors.

In the mid fifties I moved to California with my family.

In Los Angeles, 51 years ago I married my school sweetheart, and we raised two children, a boy and a girl.

Whilst living in Los Angeles I made a living as a mechanic and partly as an Actor in TV and motion pictures.

"Under my stage name of Eric Forst".

Eight years ago after living 44 years in Los Angels we moved to Nashville to be with my daughter and grandchildren.

I started writing poetry about ten years ago...

"I enjoy poetry very much and I still continue writing"

I have four books out three poetry books and my bio book which is my lifestory through from being a child during second world war to the present day... see the video's of my books here..

My Other Poetry Awards and Distinction

I was honored with a beautiful crystal award from World Of Poets

As one of the top rated poet for 2007. I have earned the merit of a National Poet Laureate on of the sites in 2005

In 2004 from the National Authors Registry I was honored with the Presidents Award for Literary Excellence for the contribution of “Treasured Time”

I was honored with a Poet of Merit Award Metal from the International Society of Poets in 2002, and other Honorable Mention awards.

Some of my poems have been published by

Noble House, the International Library of Poetry, Famous Poets Society, League Of American Poets, Poets World Wide, and many others have published some of my poems….

I have recently won this beautiful Cristal Statue for my 9/11 poem

At the beginning of the year before being invited to serve on the

alliance's admin team I was their top scoring poet
